I had a lovely stay at Mainstay Suites Geismar, Gonzales. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I appreciated having a kitchenette in my room, making it convenient to prepare snacks. The breakfast choices were ample, and I especially enjoyed the variety offered each morning.

The room had a cozy living area with a kitchenette that exceeded expectations. However, the bathroom cleanliness fell short, affecting our stay.

i was looking forward to a peaceful stay, but the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly and i could hear kids screaming all night. the beds were decent yet decidedly below average. oddly, a complimentary upgrade woudl ve been the least they could do for me. just couldn't bring myself to give a good review, really disappointing.

Several issues popped up during the stay. The floorboards creaked like a rusty starship, indicating wear and tear. I spotted some mildew on the ceiling—definitely a sign of past leaks. Meanwhile, the cleanliness left much to be desired, with hair in the tub and a moldy smell in the carpet, which was not exactly the ideal atmosphere to kick back and relax.

We loved the good breakfast selection and how well my sons enjoyed the cozy living area we had. The kitchenette made it perfect for quick meals, and we also had a fantastic time just hanging out after a day exploring the nearby golf club.
